- You can check out IDF’s (Interaction Design Foundation) courses. They have a large number of courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced users. All their courses can be taken and completed as you wish to. There is no hurry, no examinations to test your knowledge. Take your time to learn, interact with your peers, a huge number of classes and certification at the end of each course is what you are looking at if you take an IDF course.
- HFI (Human Factors International) also has a variety of courses covering all the aspects of UX design like UX strategy, usability, testing and many more. One can take these courses to start with, complete their learning via their examinations and become an HFI certified designer.
- There are also plenty other online resources from where one can pick up UX/UI design. Udemy, Udacity, CareerFoundry, Lynda, and Coursera are a few of them. You can also read up UX design blogs to get a better understanding of what’s happening in the field, trends and advancements and people’s thoughts and opinions on the subject.
- If you prefer the human touch, enrol yourself in a good design school, majoring in either UX Design, Product Design or Interaction Design. During college, get yourself internships with design studios/workplaces to get real-life practical knowledge about how the industry works.
