Do clients really understand what UX design is all about?

January 31, 2019 by Swathi Kirthyvasan

There are a few of them who do and few who don’t. The major case is no. Nowadays, most clients are in a rush to get their product out in the market and don’t understand the concept of delivering good experiences. With everyone getting mesmerized with jazzy and colourful interfaces floating around all over the web, no one thinks about the user; how he/she has to use the product/app/idea. Clients just say they want a UX for a product, but they get lost when designers sit down and ask them questions on the product. There are still a few who assume UX = UI and that’s where the problem lies. Clients and startups really need to understand that UX matters and users are getting smarter today. They cannot presume that their app/product will get away with beautiful UI; it’s about making it easy for the users to use which counts.
